Decorative Vase workshop

28th March 2026 @2:30pm
Bowhouse St Monans

This relaxed, meditative workshop offers time to slow down and work with clay. You’ll be guided through traditional hand-coiling techniques, gradually building a decorative vase or pot by layering and shaping the clay by hand. No prior experience is needed, and the session is suitable for beginners.

Once your form is complete, you’ll decorate your piece using coloured slips — a liquid form of clay — allowing for gentle pattern and surface detail to emerge.

After the workshop, Eleanor will take the finished pieces away to be fired and glazed if required. Completed work will be available to collect from the Bowhouse Market on 11–12 April, with postage available at an additional cost.
