There is sandy stretch perfect for a picnic blanket and some beachcombing and plenty of rockpools to search too. A short walk to the west takes you to harbourfront of Anstruther where there are bars, cafes, fish and chip takeaways and restaurants and to the east leads to Cellardyke harbour and tidal pool. With the property located directly off the Fife Coastal Path, you can enjoy a picturesque walk in either direction to reach the other East Neuk villages.

The area has long been popular with visitors, many who first came as children and now return with their children and grandchildren to make new memories. There is a gentle pace of life here, making it ideal for those seeking a relaxing break by the sea.

It’s equally as suited to those seeking an active holiday—as well as miles of unspoilt coastal path for keen walkers, there’s water sports, wild swimming and of course plenty of golf courses to explore. The East Neuk has a vibrant arts community with festivals and other events throughout the year. St Andrews is a 20-minute drive, Edinburgh around one hour making this a great base from which to explore further afield.
