From its first level position it offers views from all rooms with the sea and Isle of May to the front and fields to the rear. The stunning coastline is easily reached via a path that leads down to the sea where you can follow the Fife Coastal path in both directions. The bright lounge has comfortable sofas and a dining table which offers the perfect glimpses of the Isle of May in the distance.

The kitchen is well-equipped and benefits from a further dining area with a breakfast bar and stools, and whoever is on dishes duty can wash up with the views across the fields to distract them. There are two bedrooms, a double to the front and a twin to the rear, both of which have fitted storage and are fresh and bright. A newly fitted shower room with walk-in shower enclosure completes the accommodation.

There is private resident’s parking available, and guests can make use of the seating area on the raised decking to take in the views and enjoy the fresh sea breeze. Crail is a beautiful fishing village in the East Neuk of Fife with a picturesque harbour and gentle pace of life.

With St Andrews a little over 10 miles away and many famous golf courses nearby, it’s a popular spot with golfers and offers plenty of other outdoor activities such as wild swimming, paddleboarding and walking miles of unspoilt coastal paths. Take a boat trip to the Isle of May and see an array of seabirds including puffins and you might even spot a pod of passing dolphins.

The beach, parks and nearby estates and walled gardens are great for families to explore, and many are dog friendly too. Art and music play a big part in the local culture with festivals, market and events throughout the year. Fife is also famous for its amazing local larder and has many artisan producers in the area.
